Darren Herewini continued his great form Saturday quickly dispatching Jimmy Samuels 4 legs to 1. Legend of the game Warren Parry had a great match up with Craig Ross, with Warren Parry eventually winning 4 legs to 2. Young Junior Cory Horne who represented New Zealand in Gibraltar in 2019 at the JDC World Championships won his match 4 legs to 2 over Mary-Anne Teinaki. Young Kayden Milne who has played brilliant darts all weekend had a very topsy turvy match against Stu Irwin of the Mighty Waikato. Stu come out the victor winning 4 legs to 3. Next up was Mark Cleaver against Ben Robb, Mark won 4 legs to 1 putting the DPNZ Current Number one out of the tournament.

In the Semi Finals Haupai Puha and Darren Herewini battled it out with the eventual winner being Haupai 6 legs to 3. The match between Stu Irwin and Warren Parry seen Stu Irwin dominate the match winning 6 legs to 2.
Finals time seen Haupai Puha play Stu Irwin. This was the first time Stu Irwin has made it through this far in a DPNZ event and after this I’m sure it won’t be the last. Haupai won the match 7 legs to 3. Haupai had two breaks in throw, threw 2 x 180’s, scored 10 x 100’s and scored 6 x ton plus with a match average of 83.69. Stu Irwin scored 15 x tons and 1 x ton plus with a match average of 80.55
